Function keys

The function keys or F keys are lined along the top of the keyboard and labeled F1 through F12. These keys act as shortcuts, performing certain functions, like saving files, printing data, or refreshing a page.

Many times, users can be confused as these keys may be unfamiliar. It identifies non-alphanumeric keys with a description.

• Esc = > Esc (escape) Key generate the escape character (which can be represented as ASCII code 27 in decimal)
• Tab = > Switch between separate documents or web pages
